Well, in my case, the truck came lifted and wheels and tires so the number was different than 4 by a lot. Regardless, you can blame your governemt for that sticker...

 

Wow! Thanks, figured something stupid, but more along the lines of weakened leaf springs to the point that Toyota engineers have determined it's easier for them to leave them on my rig and put this warning on the door, rather than replace the defective, sagging, soon to break parts!

 

I'm pretty sure it means you're fat, and you need to lose 4 fuckin' pounds.

That sticker is weighing you down, just take it off and you'll get your 4Ibs back.

 

If Toyota had dipped your frame in zinc to prevent rusting it might have added 4 pounds to the overall weight of the truck. But we all know this isn't the case.

 

Yeah, that'll be the same day that they run the positive as ground and keep the negative terminal the fuck away from the frame and body panels!

 

I am just curious why it was important to put the sticker but not do the math properly. Is it 2kg or 4lbs. They arent exactly equal.

 

It depends on how much the bull ate that day.

 

I'm guessing we should trust the metric weight? Let's say it's 4&1/2 lbs...

 

I had the same yellow sticker on the doorjam of my 2015 I used to have and it said CAUTION! No changes has been made on GVWR. I was thinking it's the stupidest sticker I ever seen in my life and peeled that shit right off my truck.

 

There will probably be a recall on the sticker because it's miss-leading. The math is incorrect as jshsltr pointed out.
