Started making my custom kydex holster for the center console. I have the rough shape cut and still plan to do some more shaping and sanding before I get this mounted.....so far it's turning out great!

Awesome stuff!! I hate molding kydex though.... Tried it a few times in an oven, with a heat gun... I can get it moldable.... But without a press it never turned out too great. I was mostly trying to do it for knives though.

Id like to make a single flat back sheath for my truck knife and flashlight, then mount it in the console like that!

I have them too . I'm not OP but I'll give my answer too . I think they weren't too difficult to install. I will say that you should mount the steps to the brackets first and then mount the whole thing to the truck . Instructions say to install the mounts first then add the step bar but it was a little hard that way . So what I did in the other side was put together mounts and step bar first then mount to truck .

Looks good! Are you planning on mounting it flush to the side or offset to allow for more grip when inserting/removing the pistol?

Wrap going on tomorrow so I spent the day disassembling and prepping for the wrap. It sucked! The fender flares are a giant pain to remove because the clips that hold them on break and the double sided tape stays on the truck. Had to debadge and desticker. Also had to pull headlights. Can't pull headlights without pulling the grill and front bumper. I also disassembled the windoor latches so I can powdercoat them black. Also removed the wheel guards so I can paint them too. I hope the truck goes back together when I'm done. Lol!

installed 265/70r18 Falken Wildpeaks on new Fuel Recoils and put on stock truck. Obviously driveways and reversing are a pita. But I have suspension being sorted, new forged wheels being cut, Trucks going to zroadz for LED light bar treatment treatment next week, Im going to put out some serious lumens is all I can say. Finished too late after work to get pics.

Working a project build for our company (MHT) for events / sema / collateral purposes. The custom wheel being test cut as a 17x9 et 0 or -6 Uncertain final offset is being made as a visual test for an eventual cast version.

Unrelated to that. Keeping new wheels at 17x9 et0 if I want a tall skinny tire what set-up would work best? I dont want to go over a tall 32.

I plan on adding a few rubber spacers so I can get a better purchase when drawing.
