Looks like the TRD Pro is coming here. Which is a good start.
At least Toyota could make some options stand alone like other manufacturers do. I would have added the Rear locker to my TRD Sport if given the option. I inquired when I bought my truck and was told that was not a option. Hopefully the TRD Offroad is going to offered here. There is more competition for the Tacoma now. And more competition coming in the future.

    Got my Tacoma this week.
I have 17" stock rims and tires if anyone wants em for cheap.
Wish there was TRD off road available in Canada in the D-cab but have to settle for the sport .

Diamondkote under coating. Dont need to get it done from dealer. Take it out to a detailing shop and they will do it for about 200 bux.

Heres my diamond coat story, let's go back to my 87 Toyota pickup4x4 , sprayed with the stuff checked yearly and when the bed in the seam began rusting Toyota nor diamond coar to would cover as this " where the spray couldn't penetrate " =no coverage, but they loved the 500 to pay for the lifetime coverage, fast forward to my 97 Toyota, igot it sprayed on in the deal, when I took the truck home crawled under and it was done very poorly, took it back to the dealer showed them, and later watched them fix it up with the Canadian tire spray can!! i wasn't to happy, well about 7 years ago on the yearly inspection the newbie tech said it needed to be redone in the hood etc. Great, well of a sudden dealership didn't want to apply it couldn't apply it etc, set me up with a shop to do it and I was just about to hand over the keys when I asked again this is covered ya for 200 bucks more, I took the truck back went over to the dealer and in the end the dealer reapplied, I just buy the can stuff and do it myself,

wow thanks for that. after hearing a few stories I'm thinking no undercoat but yes to the rust proofing.
I got under my 07 taco tonight with a light and I'm pretty impressed with how good it looks. No doubt the regular sprinkler under the truck has kept it washed. Now, has anyone used a rust proofing other than Krown that doesn't run and leach as much?

I've been spraying my Tacoma with fluid film. The frame looks new even though the trailer hitch, which I forgot to spray for two seasons, has begun to rust. You have to apply it every year though.

thanks. I'd be keen to hear of a penetrating rust preventive that lasts longer than a year. but i'll go with our suggestion in the meantime.

The problem is that anything that would last longer would also likely harden completely. Once it hardens our climate will eventually crack it, which makes it useless. Even worse some undercoating can actually eventually trap moisture against the frame. You need a really thick fluid to stay, well, fluid enough to keep things covered year long which precludes anything that won't eventually run or rub off.

I love this paint scheme... question: do you think the accents are painted on? or are they decals?

Is there a Canadian only buy/sell/trade thread? I can't seem to find one. How would I go about starting one up?

I'm interested in having one with Canadian prices, for items located in Canada.
