What all would y'all get with this? There is a few options to choose with it...also where do y'all have them mounted? I'm thinking right behind the steering wheel

Also is the scanguage worth looking into?

 

I have both and personally like the scangauge more, I find it easier to use. The ultragauge is nice being that you can monitor more on one page but its interface is a tad buggy (at least mine). I'm also not a fan of the buttons being on the back of the unit because it makes it a pain to use depending where you mount it. The scangauge on the other hand has nice forward facing buttons oh and you can make it red, red things are better. Instant +5hp

Once you set everything on a page its not very often you have to touch the buttons. Plus it can just pop out of the bracket. Just my experience though. The only thing ive noticed is sometimes ill see it do a page refresh but that isnt an issue to me.

 

I have the scanguage II, had it since.. 2011? it has never given me a problem as long as when you use the fillup feature, actually fill the entire tank up till the gas nozzel clicks off automatically. Been within .1+/- of a gallon for years.

 

True, you only really need to hit buttons for fueling which in my case is only once a week. I'm mostly nit picking at this point, both great units in the end. Mine must have had a bad cable or perhaps my obd2 port needs to be cleaned out because it would power cycle here and there for no apparent reason.

 

I'll have to check them both out and go from there. I like where @ChamYota has his but I wouldn't mind it up at the top of the windshield to be out the way also

 

I stopped using it for fueling as well. The mpg was never accurate enough to compare tank to tank. Turning off those alarms makes it so i dont ever have to reset the fuel level.

 

What alarms?

Wtf are you suppose to look up? Idk what alarms he's talking about. They're many types of alarms that I've read pop up about the fuel. I was asking him cause I read somewhere a fix for that so

 

The only one that bothered me was the low fuel level one so i turned it off.

Did you calibrate it? Mine is dead on.

 

The fuel? Yea i did over 5 tanks and it still never really changed much. Not too worried about mpg anyways.
