They've been great and taken a beating. There are some pretty big gashes in the outer edges of the wheel  still going strong.

Yes i have the 0mm offset and 4.5 bs. No i'm running 295/75/16 now. Yea you will notice a power decrease but not bad, it's mainly because of the weight of the tire if you go E rated. The countersteers help alot being only 18 lbs each though.

I had to trim for 285 a bit in the back of the wheel well on the fender but thats it. I'm running about 3* caster so that helps. I also had to trim some of the fender on the top of the wheel well were it was rubbing under full stuff. Not something you can see from the outside though, just up under the fender. 285 is a great size!

Thanks. I have K02 265 75 16s with about 10k or so on them. It hurts my feelings because I want new wheels and tires. How were the countersteers with your 265 75's? I'm thinking about getting them to correct my old man with false teeth removed look induced by my ome heavy lift, and then burning through my 265's before I get new tires... Hopefully the wheel bearings won't be terribly beat up by moving 3 measily little centimeters. Really if you count the extra 1/4 inch on each side, you are only moving the centerline of the wheel about 2.365cm out from the frame.

Mr. Hailer, tell me about your Dirt King LCA's? I'm looking at them and at the Total Chaos "race series." I'm trying to understand why the Total Chaos's cost 390 more dollars. Any thoughts?

The TCs come with the secondary shock mount standard, DKs come with just a limit strap tab now. DKs come with derin bushings which are a $200 upgrade for most arms. So, unless you are planning dual shocks, DK seems like a better choice to me. Myself, and many others have been very happy with the DKs.

    Stole my idea!

    Jk

Glad it's standard now. Makes these very competitive against the TC ones

Hey now it was both our ideas :p

Like wishbone said, those are likely the reasons. I'm not sure if TC uses different metal too? They've been great for me. I'd buy them again.

Holding up like a champ! Was your idea to bend the tabs so it pulled straight with the top mount!

@SconnieHailer, saw you post in another thread about the KO2's in 295, I scrolled back a few pages and didnt see any pics, did you go through with it? Considering going up to 295's in the new KO2's for my next tire

Edit: found the pics you posted, they look SICK, did you ever do the cab mount chop? I know you're front set up is very different than mine so its sort of comparing apples to oranges, but do you have any rubbing anywhere? just FYI im running ARB w/ warn m8000, OME 886's and OME struts on level 8 guardians w/ 4.5" BS, stock UCA's and no rubbing with 285's

If its of any interest i ran the 315 ko2s on level 8 mk6 w/ 4.11" backspace and stock suspension all around for a week or two. CMC and some beating but i only rubbed full reverse lock (which i still do)

Hey man, yeah i've crept through your build, those 315's on no lift were crazy, i think i'll be okay, just trying to avoid modifying the frame, even if it is just the cab mount
