Million Mile Toyota

A few questions. Where was this truck built? What day of week? Which engine? How often were fluids changed?How many tires, batteries, brake jobs, etc. have been done?

Amazing that he did this in less than 9 years.

Probably not. Most likely offered him a new Tundra with his old trade offer of $500.

 

I know volkswagen has done big stuff for owners of million mile v-dubs

 

They really should. He's advertising the reliability of Toyotas. Corporate should send him something nice.

 

I only have 874,000 miles until I catch up.

 

I have always wondered if the odometer "rolled-over" at 1 million... I guess it just stops working all together according to the article. Interesting.

 

Just because one vehicle makes it that long, doesn't mean the whole brand is reliable.

Also the reverse doesn't work in the thing, so I'd say the truck at this point is no longer reliable.

More Fords make it over 1 mil than Toyotas.
That may have to do with a diesel option though

No major problems in over 205k miles. Only a power steering pump and routine maintenance.
Best truck evar!
