I just don't know if I need it for the winch. I will have a 'Winch Power' switch in the cab that will cut off power for the controller, in-cab and plug-in remote.

What ever cut off needs to be heavy enough for sustained high amperage draw. Few if any will handle more than 400amp plus more than 10-15 second duty cycle, and every time it's cycled it's likely to become weaker.

Max amp draw on my winch is 350amps. I just don't know if I really need it.

Cutting power to controller is better, keeps assholes from screwing with your shit
Wire winch direct, have a cable accessible an a pair of cutters handy all the time. Solenoid failure happens, usually in a tense moment. And rarely fail open. Low voltage is easy to cause if your not paying attention, lower voltage equals higher amperage draw, 350amps is easy to exceed

Yep, It's just a shitty design with all those U-turn things. People are stupid and just want to turn left. #NASCAR

Good point, it would be pretty sweet to have my wife hit the trails and camp out with both our rigs

I've done the his and hers wheeling rigs thing, my '85 Runner and an'87 Toy SBRC, it was fun but damn it gets stressful, especially if you're with a group that wants to hit every trail in one day.
If we're to ever run 2 rigs at once on a ride again, it would be with a small group who was there to have fun and relax, not race thru the forest.

Anyone know a good local fabricator for Yotas? Need to get a new rear bumper installed. Let me know. Thanks everyone.

There are always one ( or more) in a group who loose sight of the whole reason you're camping and wheeling. It's not a race or a contest to see how much ground can be covered. It's a chance to NOT be in a rush, chill enjoy where you're at.
It sounds preachy, some folk gotta learn to chill, simple as that.
