I believe he is referring to the bushing that locates and supports the CV shaft concentrically in the diff. Mine has play and clunks too but I'm not gonna bother replacing it until it leaks.

That goes in the roller bearing. That makes sense.

Needle bearing...come on guys. Totally different bearing.

Yeah, the only place in the front I can recall a needle bearing is in the tulip joint.

It's a needle bearing. The only technical difference between a roller and a needle is the length to diameter ratio of said needle/roller.

Douche is a bit relative, you can correct him on year because that's straight up factually incorrect. But calling him out on those "wheels" would be douchy.

Installed new Front Struts. Took the old off last night. Took them over to tire shop first thing this morning and had them disassemble the old struts and install the new struts on Coil Springs. Got them back took about 30 minuets to install on truck. Used the hints I found on the site to help me get them back on. Bad weather this weekend so that's when I will do the Valve Cover Gaskets, PCV valve, spark plugs and wires. The truck rides better, still a Tacoma but smoother.

    Tom
