There was a time when my GF got ok at fixing stuff. Her jeep Cherokee like all jeeps was a huge POS. She used to want to learn so I taught her how to do front brakes she did one side while I did the other 3. She did her own oil and learned how to use an impact gun correctly and on the right stuff. She did most of the work pulling out her tcase that split in half going down the highway. Now she won't touch the stuff unless my truck is broken in the woods she will help to get it home.

It would sail harmlessly over all of their heads.

That's you're own fault for having your gf help you work on the truck. I don't have my wife do anything other than pump the brakes to help me bleed them. It's quicker and easier for all involved if I just do everything on my own.

If she's hanging out talking I might as well try to have her do something useful. :notsure:

Can you get away with cold blue?
Not the greatest stuff, but works in a pinch.

Handing you the wrong tool repeatedly to the point where you just have to get up and get it yourself anyways seems incredibly helpful. If my wife makes me lunch while I'm out working on the truck or bike, I'm happy.

Had a heart to heart with Ferd's service dept today... I'm trying to get them to change a setting in the lighting control ecu, you'd think I was asking them to cut the seatbelts out. They're supposedly checking into the legality of what I was asking them to do and will get back to me... Can't wait for that phone call, hopefully they come to their senses.

Ok pics from today!image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgok so twist off the flange part with the tree tabs just like a factory bulb. Put it into the lens assembly then snap the wire retainer behind it. Push the rubber grommet onto the lens assembly. You'll have a whole right into the lens now. Take the LED part with cord slide it into the whole twist all done! Also take the two 10 mm bolts that hold the windshield washer fluid bottle in place out! Pull it up it has a locator on the bottom push it back a bit gave me more room and easily done on passengers side !!

Gonna bring it to a local shop and have them blue it I think. Should protect it and toss a muzzle device on it
