Well, today I got thinking about parking sensors. It seems those aftermarket kits are pretty inexpensive.
My wife, of which I'm proud/not-so-proud to admit: she ponied up about half of the money to buy our new Tacoma (well---used but "new" to us).....She hasn't even driven it yet and we've had it over a month.
The biggest detractor for her is the thought of parking it in a lot or wherever. That's what got me on the idea of parking sensors. Anybody tried them? Looks like the front bumper is plastic, and rear is steel? (2014 SR5 model)
I was hoping to keep this truck for the next 30yrs, but if a short wife can't drive it.....the truck might not be with us that long!
    Any thoughts?

Figured if I could do it for a hundred bucks..... Might be hundred bucks well spent!

Must be just me, but I'd rather have my wife Not drive my truck.

I bought a stick so she doesn't drive my truck - haven't seen a answer to the parking sensor question yet !

Just some dumb regular crap everyone else has

Doesn't your 2014 have a rear camera? Mine does and I prefer to see where I'm backing up to than just listening to beeps. My FJ had the sensors and I still prefer the camera. I know this doesn't answer your question, but it's a bump for someone else to chime in.
