One word. Ugly. Could you imagine Toyota putting that rollbar on a TRD Pro?

I owned a 2005 Regular cab 4x4 and it was great until 60k when I started getting electrical problems, fuel problems etc. I believe the new ones will be better but until they can prove it, I will be doing the taco.

Plus the tacos look better in my opinion. Both second and third gens

This was only a tribute to the Back to the future Toyota. Which the one in the movie looked a lot better. Toyota tried to hard for publicity with this

Not TRD Pro and not stock available accessory. Back to the Future truck was one off custom truck along with that goofy rollcage which is replicating 1985 as a gimmick. Don't think Toyota has that available as an option this century.

Might of been cooler if they custom made a regular cab

I know it's not a TRD Pro and it's a one time thing from Toyota but I was just trying to help Dean724 imagine what the rollbar would look like on a Tacoma.

What's with this attitude that you have to be married to one truck brand and hate all the others? I'm here because I have an interest in the Toyota Tacoma. Does that mean I am going to blindly accept everything Toyota offers with the Tacoma....does that mean I am only going to make comments praising the Tacoma...no, I'm going to give my honest opinion. And IMO the New GM Twins beat out the 3rd gen Tacos... This thread is specifically asking about the Colorado. You don't have to agree with my opinion, but questioning why I am here is silly.

This has a lot of truth to it. I like the rear step bumper, heated mirrors and rear defroster. The heated mirrors and rear window defroster become huge problems for us in snowy climates. I think my next truck may just be a diesel Canyon simply because of the discomforts I have with the Tacoma. That will be a while off, and it depends on how they actually do in the short term, but it certainly will be on my list of trucks to look at.... that or a Raptor lol, because why not

It's not as much the roll-bar that looks odd, it's the side trim.

Oh come on, don't be a baby just 'cause the 3rd gen's horrific attempt at making a grille look manly, weak ass engine, and drum brakes can't compete with GMs latest stuff.... lol...Are you getting a kick-back from Toyota? Why do you care so much... as far as I can tell you didn't built, design or do anything to produce either of the trucks, so why do get so upset when someone says they like a different mid-size better?

all scooter has done was complain about the minor problems he had with his Colorado, yet just deals with the minor problems with the Taco.

    They are both great trucks.
