Did you do any extra reinforcing of the skids, or are they as they were on arrival?

Just as they were. I trust Pelfreybilt. The only skid with an reinforcing is the trans skid where it bends up. Even then I doubt these will get bent very hard.. Some thick heavy shit..

Are the bolts between the engine and trans skids in backwards? That looks like a problem waiting to happen.

Even if you have to put those two up as one you need to reverse those bolts.

That spot probably takes the most abuse since its right after the tires.

To be honest.. I don't know.

That's the only way I was able to fit the bolts on. If I put them the other way, the nuts and washers would have fit

The picture on their site shows them the other way so I don't know. I'll screw with it at home after work or something. Even if I hit a rock on those bolts, I doubt it'll do much damage anyways

It would probably make them pretty difficult to ever take off though

Even on the FJs it is that way :)

On my way to find some more trails last time I was out, My Gps tried taking me over a 1 lane wood bridge that was barricaded on both ends.

It let me upload it. So for all you other 2nd gen girls who are thinking about doing the exhaust reroute. I highly recommend it either way.

I don't prefer exactly how mine was done but it looks clean, doesn't leak and doesn't get in the way of anything.
