From your picture it looks like they are lower than the factory fenders. Like in the front it looks like they are hanging over the bumper.

That may be the problem and why there's no gap when you mount a plate bumper.

I see what you are referring to but they aren't lower. My front bumper droops a bit in the front for some unknown reason - always has - so I can't imagine that it's helping much with showing off the lines.

I've been trying to get a hold of mcneil for a while. If they sold bumper caps to make it flush that would be perfect. You could squeeze a lot of tire

Or if they just angled the flared part and made it slimmer. Making a 45 cut from 3inches above where it flattened to meet bumper and just glassed it so it tucked in behind the bumper similar to how the fender sits now when you take stock flare off.

That's because only weak people with small gentalia run glass with an OE bumper :rimshot:

Easy now, I'm not close enough to Nevada to camp out on Eric's porch to get him to push me to the top of the list out of sympathy.

You can in fact stretch the OE front bumper out wider. The guys at Dirt King had one of their personal trucks ( the red Taco on the McNeil site ) set up that way originally. They were able to stretch the OE bumper to match a +3.5" LT fenders. They simply relief cut the back top edge of the bumper that is hidden under the headlight and fender to allow it to " spread " and then built their own support bracket for it.

Looks like I am ordering fenders tommorow. Then gears! I'll have to try and get them to paint it mgm. They said they would if I drove down, but that's not an option

Here is the truck with an OE bumper spread to perfectly match full LT fenders. The pics on the McNeil site show the tube bumper they have on the truck now.

Might be able to get the guys at @Dirt King Fab to better describe how they did it. It was such a clean install that I walked by it, did a double take and thought wait...WTF...glass...OE bumper...me no understand
