The weather was nuts as soon as I passed the stateline. Had to pull in to that first rest stop cause I couldnt see shit.

There are quite a few good breweries in the ham. My favorite is Avondale, but another close second is good people. Trim tab and Cahaba are both really good too if you make it that far. Gotta get that Snake Handler from Good People if you go there.

 

And Cahaba just moved their taproom to Avondale, so they're really close now. Plus, it's a much bigger place than they had before. If you like cahaba, you'll love the new place.

 

I'm down to check out some breweries this weekend. Lmk if you guys want to meet up. One of my bosses mentioned 5 Points and the Highland Hotel. Would have switched hotel but their gov't rate was still high.

 

Sounds good. I'm free Sunday and it looks like great weather. Avondale has a cool outdoor area. Let's do that.

 

Hey fellas I'm not sure what I missed but I see y'all are having a meet up this weekend looks like. I'm finishing up my bumper build sat but could meet up on Sunday. I'm in Hueytown all of 20 min from bham

 

Hueytown huh, my old stomping grounds. I used to live behind the highlander before I moved my family to VA.

 

Not this coming weekend, but the weekend after. The 12th. Many of us Birmingham guys are going to drive up together.

Looks like a small meet up is happening this weekend at Avondale. The one for next weekend I think is in Huntsville.

Also, anything going on tomorrow night or Saturday? I have a 3 day weekend and I'm not about to drive 11hrs to go home and come back.

I would like to but I will have to see if I have anything going on. As far as stuff to do tomorrow or Saturday, I am sure there is plenty going on around birmingham since it will be such a nice weekend. If you are into sports at all, UAB baseball is playing at Regions Field Saturday. Pretty sweet field.

 

Thanks for the heads up. So looks like I'm staying here till the 19th. I checked out of trussville and moved over to 280 near brook highland plaza where there's more to do.
