Inside the machine there is a toggle switch where you can switch back and forth from the Mig gun to the Spool gun. You have to use a different wire for welding Aluminum and also use a different gas. If you wanted to, you could get a small tank of gas for when you do anything aluminum and keep a couple small spools of wire for the spool gun.

Here is a video of the spool gun for that welder at work.

Sweet build man. I haven't read the thread. But how do you like the courser MXTs?

I love them. For one of the cheaper tires, pretty much a lesser version of the new Cooper STT Pro, they are fantastic. I don't really drive the truck much but no problems yet, on or off-road. They are also much quieter than my old Nitto's.

Sweet. I was torn between those and the Dick Cepeck extreme country's that I got. I think both are a cheaper comparison to the stt pros. I love mine. Much quieter than my nittos as well.

I've never heard anything about DC tired but I know All Pro runs them occasionally and I haven't heard of any problems from them.

Finally fixed the fog light tab that broke on my front bumper. Installed some OZUSA Amber DOT led pods that I got off of Amazon for $60. Hard wired into the factory fog light circuit. I will need to do the fog light anytime mod as well for these.

Nah, I told my tool guy to see if he can get a Hobart but he never answered back. I'll bug him again tomorrow. If I can go through him I can do monthly payments with 0 interest and he comes around rarely so I would barely ever pay lol
