    i have had my 06 access cab sport for over a year now and i have only seen like 2 others. is it a rare truck or am i just not seeing them?

    yeah i always see the off road access cabs but never the sports. btw i have been thinking about doing some more off roading with it. how does it handle?

    Great...I've got a 4x4 so that helps. But the LSD isn't really a hindrance...a locker would have helped me out a time or two...but I was able to use the e-brake and it all worked out just fine.

    its a 2wd, so can it really go off road that well or what? i have only been on a few dirt roads nothing much, im a little scared lol

    BOOO THIS MAN!!!

    Yeah...2WD is less capable than 4WD- so make sure you have good recovery gear and/or a buddy with good recovery gear.
    They can get to plenty of place tho and have a good time. Throw a lift and a locker in there and you'll be in great shape for even reaonsably moderate to difficult trails.

    Most Sports I see around here are double cabs. I've seen one white access cab Sport that's it. Mostly see access cab Off Road models.

    LOL I have no prerunner :)

    But I dont use 4wheel until I get stuck either. The only time I have got to use the hook was to pull one of our wildland fire trucks out of a mud hole it worked good, and for the $18 price tag it was very worth it.

    The reason I did not go with a shackle was because when I get stuck its normally pretty bad or pretty deep stuff and I need to get hooked fast to one of my friends so the hook was the way I went.

    We really thread jacked here...

    I'd be very careful with it, and only go with at least one other 4x4. The non OR prerunners don't hold up to well to moderate stuff (hills, rocky terrain, ect) and it will destroy your tires. Even with my locker, I chuck my tires up pretty good too. That said you can still probably do quite a bit more than you'd think, but you just gotta be level headed and realistic about your trucks capabilities. Again, never go alone, and always have recovery gear.

    I saw both of my old access cab sports yesterday. My most recent one is still at the dealership, and the one I had before it I saw in a parking lot while shopping. Damn I go through Tacomas too fast.
