That was mock up. Its got quite a few more inches of weld on it now.
But bring your beater and if you can hit it off then I'll give ya $200.

Do not want to leave it open. Bugs the living hell out of me and looks unfinished. That's why I made the cover today. I'm open to ideas if you can think of a better way.

 

My bed is higher than yours, so I imagine yours does stick up a bit higher. How high does it stick above the surface of the deck? any plans for side rails that you could tie it into later?

 

I'm probably gonna look at it tommorow and see if there's a way I can modify it to make it look better. I really did like it but if its that bad then I can change it

But seriously tho. @SMKYTXN you mentioned it being an object to hung up on rocks... How would not having anything over the filler neck at all be better? I'm pretty confident that I could slide into a rock with it and it not budge. Even if it may not look the greatest.

Maybe I'll modify the cap so it doesn't look like a dick head lol I'll make it a flat top cap
