AT is manufacturing a lighter duty camper that flips backwards instead of forwards. My issue is that I simply cannot control the torsion bar alone with moderate winds blowing with only one arm. We love our Flippac and will always recommend people to seriously look into them if they are searching for a lightweight, easy to use camper.

The wife is less interested in sleeping in the truck camper and is strongly hinting that she wants a trailer. This means that the trailer would be "base camp, and the truck would be "mobile camp." It will cost me more, and I'm not opposed to it. But in the end if everyone is getting outside and happy then it will work out.

Can't even get specs on available options other than the general listing. Still, have AT on notice that I'm interested.

If I can make arrangements to get a chair reserved at a local dialysis clinic I'll meet you there. Takes some doing to find a "transient seat" but I'm already sniffing around.

The hospital in Flagstaff is about 30 min from Mormon Lake depending on traffic in downtown Flagstaff.

Right on. Each dialysis clinic has a patient coordinator that helps with stuff like that. Getting started with plans early helps and I'll mention that to her.

Went to move some money today and found out that I have to wait until the 21st of March before I can do anything with it. Grrr...

Until then I can sort out some more bumper plans.

Eric @RelentlessFab told me that I "should" be seeing my bumper by the end of the month. Once in I can test fit and then make the accommodations for my personally desired additions.

    Planned changes/upgrades:

    1. I want to add a couple of antenna tabs behind the upper hoops, probably on the outer edges of the center hoop.
    2. Another set of tabs on the far ends of the outer hoops to accommodate the possible addition of limb risers at a later date. It's been quite awhile since I have traveled narrow and overgrown tracks, and I may never again. Worst case, they become attach points for a folding solar panel that I can stretch up to the new Prinsu roof rack that @zscott makes. I know that he is a bit overwhelmed right now but I am getting excited about seeing a package from him delivered soon.
    3. Create a frame that holds some sort of screen that is the shape of the center hoop. I learned from experience driving in tall grass that grass seed can drastically reduce the functionality of a radiator. (R.I.P. 86' 4Runner)
    4. Once this frame is ready, create attachment points to the back of the center hoop for it using rivet nuts and some sort of thumb screws.
    5. Source a new center light as Eric has stated that the Baja Designs OnX6 20" bar that I have won't fit inside the bumper. @RelentlessFab, suggestions on dimensions yet? Would like to stay with Baja Designs so wonder if the 20"x3"x1.6" 20" S8 LED bar would make the cut. Test fit this light.
    6. Test fit the amber XL-R 80 pods.
    7. Test fit the Zeon 10-S winch and fairlead.
    8. Drill for test install of universal on-board air coupler.
    9. Measure and "hopefully" be able to fit a Baja Designs S2 Pro, flush mount work light into each side facing wing. This might be a stretch but I did request the omission of the stylized Relentless 'R' and with the adjustments that Eric is making to accommodate my @McNeilRacingInc fenders it might be possible. How well they stand up to abuse is another story.
    10. Powdercoat.

Off to pick up my @dirt designs/Wolf-Fab shock bucket top engine crossover from the powdercoater.

@ChandlerDOOM came over to the shop yesterday and we got his balance beads into his wheels and did a few pedestrian mods to my truck. Four years after the first group buy that I bought them in, I finally have my Redline Tuning hood struts installed.

While I don't have my second battery installed yet I test hung my IBS dual battery system monitor on the PanaVise bracket that I installed just for it. I think it will work there perfectly.

I've been kicking around allot of ideas on where to mount my Switch-Pros switch bank and had settled on mounting it behind the shifter, but then today I saw this install album that @scott96929 posted. I really like his idea and think I may be doing the same.

Forgot, we also installed @SMKYTXN's Trail Toys EZ-View See all the things mirrors.

The logo that he "should have" used to launch these bad ass mirrors. :taco:

I've had a car with an aspherical passenger side mirror and I loved it, Now Nate offers complete sets of both left and right side aspherical mirrors. So awesome to have one on each side now.

The fact that his are seamless really make a big difference over others. It took less than ten miles for my eyes to adjust to the change and I feel like a mope for leaving them in the box for as long as I did.

One suggestion, if you think that you might eventually upgrade to heated mirrors go ahead and add that option when you order from him. Will save you heaps of time and headache later in life. Or, you can order them with the heated option which will then be the reason you need to "complete the mod" by ordering the wiring harness.

I'm glad they lived up to your standards! Just how long did you have them sitting on the shelf? Don't feel too bad about that though. I just installed a 1" body lift and poly body mount bushings that have been on my shelf for two years.

    You won't regret the purchase.

If you think you're going to go heated at some point buy them films now. Trying to get the glass out again and removing the adhesive films will be near impossible.

I can't recall how long exactly, I ordered as soon as you started to accept orders for them. I have you beat in the procrastination department however, we also installed a pair of hood struts that I ordered four years ago.

Was talking with @ChandlerDOOM about sorting out some sort of route for a "Stocker, no locker" type of event and so we decided that today would be the day that we took out our maps and put our plan to the test. Needless to say that everyone who comes out will have no problem with the route from the folks that are still showroom stock and of course those that have modded their trucks as well.

While we were out we took a slight detour into a section that does require some clearance mods to get into and back out of.

The weather was perfect and the routes were allot of laid back fun. Looking forward to finishing up the details and getting the St. Louis crowd out for a day.
