Here is mine! Not even a week old yet. LOVE IT!! Although, I would love to trade my non-scoop hood for the sport model hood with the scoop. Let me know if anyone is interested in that. And yes, I did post on the hoDSCN1603.jpg DSCN1604.jpg od trade thread, too.

Installed the sport hood on my off road today. Painted hood bulge or scoop matte black to match fender flares and front bumper. Love it! Now have a non scoop hood for sale if anyone is interested.image.jpg

Looks good! I'm looking to fit a set of K02's on my truck in the meantime till I get a lift and rims. What size you got on there? 265/70/17? looking for largest fit with no rub. Thanks Robo.

For the newbies to polishing, and correct me if I'm wrong, you're using the Lake County pads and the orange is a medium density pad for medium abrasiveness and the soft pad you refer to is the black colored pad. The line of polishes you use are quite important. I've been using Prima for years but thinking of trying Klasse or Zaino products.

Most company's that I know make buffing pads color coordinated to their density, yellow being really dense and red or black really soft. I use orange and black, mostly black pads to apply product to surface(sealer and wax) turn buffer on low speed and its much faster than doing by hand. I'm sure there is lots of good product out there, I tried a few and wolf gank works best for me.

Here is my set up 4" and 5.5" pads, after use wash pads with soap and they will last for some time.

Yeah, the colors and density look just like the Lake County brand of pads that I use.

Hey Bob, love that pic, I live in Allentown, NJ too (well upper freehold with an allentown mailing address)...right off sharon station road. Your truck looks great, I really like the sport look, if not for the locker I would have gone with a sport over the off road. Those leather seats look great, who installed them for you...I want to get them eventually.

$700 to me doesn't sound too bad. Does it come painted or is it just primed and you got it painted the color you wanted? What was done with original hood?
I am thinking seriously about doing this myself.
Lastly, what other components are needed? That account for the @$700 besides hood itself? hinges? hood lock?

Cam your truck looks great. Quick question the 4X4 on the mud flaps did they come like that or are those decals you put on yourself?

Installed my Softopper today. I think the tan on black looks pretty good. Install wasn't horrible, took almost 2 hours, made a mistake and had to back-track, and the canvas material and environment were on the cold side, so everything was tight and a bitch to get all the snaps right.

    uploadfromtaptalk1457292274399.jpg

Liking forward to getting some camping trips in this summer!
