I put these on yesterday. BFG T/A KO2. I went up one size in height, which seems to be the most you can go without a lift and not get any rubbing.

What is the size of the tires and is there any rubbing when you turn the wheel hard and how do they compare in ride to the stock tires.

I see that you have the air dam still on and didn't do any trimming. I want get the exact same thing but I am on the fence about buying a new set of wheels or just upgrade the tires. Aside from savings, do you really like how the sport rims look? Is the ride better or more rough with All terrain tires?

I really like my white '16 Taco.

The only issue I had was the weird transmission shift patterns as it "learned" the first few thousand miles. It's fine now. I've had no flapping hood issues, no shift delays due to low trains fluid, I'm pretty satisfied. I do sometimes get the party kazoo sound in a crosswind at moderate speed just like I did with my 2009 and 2011 Tacos. It's not bad so I don't mind it. I've owned a 2008,2009, 2011, 2012, and a 2016. All 4x4 double cabs. This is my favorite so far.
If you read posts on these forum for any brand of truck, you'll hear the same amount of complaints and issues. I had a 2013 Ford Super Duty Crew cab Powerstroke that had turbo issues that Ford would not acknowledge had problems (until they changed the turbos in the 2015 models). The forums were loaded with complaints about this issue and well as other malfunctions. I'm sure others had no issues or didn't complain as other did. You'll always have fan boys of any brand. Go to Ram or Chevy forums, they have complaints too.
These new Tacos will prove to be good trucks as issues get resolved. And remember, many satisfied owners never frequent a forum.

265/70/17. Stock was 265/65/17. My TRD Sport 4x4 had Toyo Open Country tires stock, and they actually weren't bad at all, super quiet, handled just ok. The BFG's are surprisingly just as quiet (my biggest concern was that these would be noisy, but I'm not sure how they did it, but they are so quiet!), and handle better. I went with the C rated version, not the heavier weight E version. Also, everyone I've spoke to in person about these loves them and their predecessor, the KO. Supposedly these things also have impressed people with their longevity and they wear really well.

Good truck all in all, would purchase again

Wish Toyota had given a few items
    1. Transmission level dipstick
    2. Spin off oil filter with easier access
    3. Mud flaps standard

There is no point in talking too much about the good things, that's why when people critique things they debate the negatives more. Figuring out if you can live with the cons is the issue people want to overcome

I'm sure many people love their new truck. Overall, it seems to be a great tuck. People sometimes mix up a few imperfections for being an overall disaster of a vehicle.

The American truck companies have been going insane with improvements lately... Toyota had a lot to compete with and I'm not sure they did their best this time. It's good to be a buyer right now, go drive everything.

Love my Tacoma. Sure it's had a couple of quirky issues that I've discussed here, but I've also discussed 100 other things that I've done and love about the truck so whoever made the "whiney bitches" comment can shove it.

With the couple issues I've had, it's actually been minimal. Not nearly as bad as I had with my F250 when I bought that brand new. Had 3 injectors take a shit and go into limp mode with 400 miles on the ODO between Palm Springs, CA and Parker, AZ.

I don't think you can ever get a car/truck without a few minor issues.... people get so caught up in bashing trucks because they are not 100% perfect and I'm thinking "when did I ever have a vehicle without at least a few minor issues." ha!

I have had an 06 a 12 and now a 2016 and the 16 is the best of the bunch for sure! I keep hoping we will start to see productive threads on here about mods and upgrades, but they are few and far between so far.

    Agreed.
Probably placibo affect but the more and more I look at her - the sexier she gets. And no I haven't been drinking.... I swear

I like the sculpted body lines VS the rounded much better. Especially the rear end!:) much improved bed and rear tail light design.
Although I just noticed a full size GMC the other day driving that was debadged - had to do a double take cuz of the rear tails looked so similar lit up.
