Haha no worries, I'm right outside of SF and love the Shasta area (and been on the summit) so was hoping it was an off-road event

My bank account will be lighter...
But my truck will be mightier.

    So bring on the rocks...
And the attempted door dig knocks.

Cuz thanks to @Tracy and Allpro...
Ain't no place my Taco won't go!

any advantage or why get apex vs HD ??? other than the fill plate, (never had rock sliders, (never had a truck to put them on like this one) ) can you use it as a step? looks? I don't get it? just wondering if I should get the APEX instead of just the HD.....??? anyone

According to their site...the APEX uses DOM (drawn over mandrel) tubing which is stronger than HREW (hot rolled electric welded) tubing. Also, if you're looking at bolt on, the HD requires 4 holes drilled into the truck's frame for the front mount...the APEX does not require drilling.

You two are both on the list. You'll just need to make your payment to All-Pro at this point.

@Ostrichsak has PM'd me a few times about splitting shipping to CO, but I can't seem to see him anywhere on this thread... Or even the list for that matter... Anybody else from CO interested?

How did I miss that? I thought the HD were bolt on. Ugh, I had a hell of a time trying to drill for our Xterra sliders.

    Are the instructions online anywhere?

Thanks. It looks like 9 drill locations per slider are required. I'm thinking I will let someone have my spot (22 people currently on the list). We had tons of issues drilling for sliders before and would rather not try again.

Should just take a new bit and squirting WD40 on the bit as you drill. To be safe I plan on test fitting, drilling, removing and painting the bare metal in the holes. I do not anticipate a lot of issues.

Hope you are still participating. These are pretty awesome sliders, and at a fantastic price!

The HD and APEX sliders have the same mounting plate now and require 4 holes per side to support the weight of the vehicle. If you are solely using them as a step, there is no drilling required.

Let me know if we can answer any questions!
