Great write up...very thorough. I have been wanting to do something like this, but never did. The quarter idea to keep pop-tops from bending is a great idea too...was wondering how to keep from bending. Great job.

Still haven't got my arse over to Wally's World, but I will the next few days since it is gonna ran = no work since (construction). I gotta finish them for my buddy's X-mas gifts. BTW, the coasters would work but the card board is thicker so you don't have to every worry about the magnets scratching the fridge since they will sit higher with the magnet. My wife would kill me if I did!

Bed lined the rear bumper caps, LED lights in the interior, rear bed LEDs, red letter glove box inserts, center console coin box, set of Wildpeaks from my 2014 Tacoma that I traded in and removed the factory running boards.
heres another idea. Cut a square piece of your fav wood. Take a router to the edges. Then use a paddle bit and sink it the thickness of the cap. Sand paint or stain the wood. Then hot glue the cap in the hole. Blamo you got something to set you beer on . Cool coaster project.

or do the ol' smack it on the edge of a table trick, that leaves the cap un damaged as well.
