Thanks, Susan.... just 21 more hours until his flight lands ! Haven't seen him in 14 months, seems like much longer ! I remember stretches of 3 and 4 years at a time when I served when I was unable to get home.

 

I remember those days - they sucked!!!

Back home.....Got 2 IV's (antibiotics) and a 7 day script for MORE antibiotics. Seems to be knocking down the infection already. I wait 10 days then get re-examined to see if this was just a fluke, or if there's some underlying cause. I feel MUCH better already. The backache part was the worst. That was actually my kidneys hurting. I couldn't sleep for about 3 days. Now all I want to do is sleep. Just got up @ 0400. Now it's back to sleep again. Thanks for the thoughts and words!

Hmmm.... Cranberry Pill. I'll suggest this to my wife.

 

Already doing them....4 a day, 2 in the morning and 2 at bed time.....along with the OTHER 12 pills I have to eat....

ER doctor told me to ask the urologist what they used for pain control during and after surgery. Some pain meds will make you susceptible to UTI's for a time after use.
