If the insides of the cat are moving around it can block your exhaust and do a lot of damage.....

Well i first team toyota and the lady was a total bitch. Told me she never heard of it but that they would take a look. So I basically told her to piss off in the nicest way possible.

Called my local dealer at home. The lady told meshes heard of it accomodated me the best she coukd and I have an APPT set up for Saturday to inspect it because I probably have to grind the weld off the flange portion and then Monday to replace it. They were ordering the part while I was on the phone... :D

Oh and BTW I am getting stationed in Philly so I won't be here anymore unless I come to a C school in Yorktown as of this coming Friday! Woot!

    100% Correct.

So, I've only been in the area 8 months and is it bad that I can not wait to leave Virginia already?

I've got my list of gripes but they are mostly personal preferences but every day it seems my patience wears thinner and thinner.

Tomorrow I'm going to see what it takes to register the Subie back in WA since the dealership fucked that one up for me...

Many downsides to VA. Get out and explore and enjoy what is available at least.

Nope, haven't found anything quite worth loving here. I've got everything done so I can test for Senior Chief and hopefully get short toured out of here. Fingers crossed!

Don't deal with Subie dealers out here either Chief.

They told my a school roommate to eff off 3 times about his transmission... He has a newer Crosstrek with the new special transmission... And then his transmission siezed and they replaced it under warranty but tried to tell him the dirt under the car is was made it fail

I was here over 10 years ago and checked out a lot of the area, everything from the Blue Ridge MT's, DC, Outer Banks, Eastern Shore, etc. I do like the history and Americana that is in the small towns here however I'm quickly reminded why it was nice to beat feat last time

The only reason I see going back to them is for the maintenance and oil changes just to keep the maint history solid. I don't think I'll be going back to that specific dealership though for that.

I had a lot of the same sentiment when I was out in CA before here. It's one of those things that you just know you're not where you want or like to be so you kinda just wait it out.

Growing up here I can tell you much has changed. Some for the better and some for the worse :notsure: I wouldn't be upset if I had to move but my wife is kind of attached to her parents (we're just down the road from them...) so that's a hard subject to breach with her.

If it were up to me, we'd be moving to the Carolinas.

The circumstances behind my transfer out here seriously left a bad taste in my mouth and I approached it with as good of an attitude as I could. Nothing quite like having your assignment officer "lose" your dream sheet and tell you to choose Cleveland, DC, Portsmouth or Petaluma and when you pick Petaluma to get Portsmouth. FWIW, this put me 2200 more miles away from my son. Had I stayed in CA I is a 12 hour drive or a $180 round trip ticket and 1 1/2 hour flight out of Oakland. Here, it's around $600 and all day between airports and flying, oh and 2 days of leave for it.

Yeah, difference between the Deep Sea Sailors and us lifeguards. We test all the way up to MCPO with service wide exams. I applied for CWO this year but my marks weren't inflated enough to make the cut so alt route is SCPO. Actually prefer this route.

I see you'r win AZ, I'd much rather be there. I was born and raised in Tucson

    He's 10 1/2.
