I guess you can say it takes x many more milliseconds to reach your right hand over to the glovebox as it does to reach your left hand over to that little cubby. If it becomes a problem or is unsafe then I will remount it somewhere else. I too thought that little cubby would be good...just didn't quite fit the way I wanted it to in there. Kind of like a "square peg in a round hole". You could tell that cubby wasn't designed for that shape of a device. Maybe if you were to cut out the back of that cubby so that 1/4 of the controller wasn't hanging out the front. Then create some type of face plate so that there wasn't huge gaps on either side. That might help cure the "stuffed it in there" look.

I'm always towing with a passenger so driving around with the glove box open would not be an option. I'm thinking about modifying the cubby to accept the brake controller and make it look like it was ment to be there.

Hey man. I just got a pair of these in as well. But I'm having trouble pulling the tail light assembly off. Was there a trick to it? Or just pull straight out? Thanks!

Does anyone know what the factory fog light bulb is? I traded a Corolla that I installed LED fogs in which were H16 bulbs and wondering if I can swap them over.

Yeah I took out the two it shows in the manual. The assembly moves freely, just won't pull out.

I didn't build it hoping for your approval, I built it because it meets mine!
Take off the two bolts that hold the tail light to the bed. They are between the bedside and tailgate. Then reach kinda under the tail light above the bumper and hold the top of the lense and pull the whole thing straight back. My drivers side light came out on the first legit pull after I figured out where and how to get a good grip on it but the passenger side took a few good pulls and loud offensive words.

Don't be afraid to use some force. As long as you pull straight back you won't break anything. Just take your time and try pulling from a few different spots.

Posted these a while ago! Wanted to do something different, and the benefit of vinyl is that it can be removed if I tire of it!

Looks nice! WTH, I have the same wheels and tires (except 275) and I still get a rub entering the small dips to driveway or entrances. It is going back to Toyota for the second time.

That's BS. You should list the Dealer and Sales Manager for everyone to know their shady tactics.
