I guess I like it, well i like its looks. Its still a Ford though. I havent been to fond of Ford over the last few years, as most American cars they seem to skimp on a lot of things to bring more money in for them, and still charge us more or the same for it.

    completely stock

I see it all the time on the tundras. The highways are all concrete out here. The tundras pick up a certain frequency over bumps and cracks and then it just gets so much worse. Frame flex and lack of good shocks stock and they bounce bad...

Surprised no one touched on this. The Raptor is also 4WD.

X2. I had an early 6L and boy was it nothing but trouble, although they finally ironed out the issues in the later years of its production. Ditched the 6.0 for a late model duramax and couldn't have been happier. I also owned a 7.3 Powerstroke that was the best diesel I've ever owned. 100% trouble free and had all the power I ever needed with the full Banks system installed.

i hate the front end but it actually seems to be pretty badass. i'd never buy one cause i dont have the need for it but i like it alot. Ford seems to be moving in the right direction as far as following consumer trends and increasing quality control. if i'm not mistaken Ford took the bailout money "just in case" but is not planning on using it since they are not in as much trouble as GM and Dodge. i could be wrong about that but either way i'm a fan of ford, but i would never buy an American vehicle as long as unions are still in place.

Yea I was under the impression they never actually took it. They would have needed it, however unlike GM and Chrysler, Ford saw this coming and took the steps ahead of time to secure some emergency funds on their own. I think they may have sold off some assets, but I don't completely remember for sure.

my father retired from ford after 30 years. He is waiting until the 6.2l v8 is available before he gets one of these. i dont like anything ford currently builds thats why i dont own one(keep in mind i could get a pretty good discount). just like the cobra, the mclaren, and the roush mustangs. this is a limited production vehicle. try to build one and buy it. feel like waiting 6 months? i dont. that being said, this is a truly sick truck and i hope that other manufacturers(toyota) take a hint from this. I cant even imagine what a, already very capable, tacoma could be morphed into, by trd, if they put their minds and money into it. i would gladly spend the extra money on a sick tacoma that was built like this ford is.

DNA of a Prerunner? I think this thing is a wanna be Tacoma!
The dealer close to me has had one sitting out front for a few months. I never knew what it was until now. I guess it's a good idea, just from the wrong company. I've never liked Ford, but they're making themselves pretty hard to dislike!

And I'm glad they're bringing the Mustang up to date engine wise. V6 now will have a 3.7L making over 300hp putting it right there with the Mustang and the 5.0L will be making over 400hp. Although GM is starting to get some nice products, lonnggggg over due. Especially from Buick. Chrysler, they're just one big giant fail.

They didn't use any of the bailout money, but they did mortgage off over 90% of all their assets. It is do or die time for Ford, although I'm pretty confident they will make it through the tough times.

tacoma is a midsize and the raptor is a fullsize thats like a middleweight and a heavyweight both have their advantages: speed, power/torque, size, weight, PRICE,included add ons and avaliable upgrades.I have nothing against the raptor and its a legit truck but Ill take a tacoma anyday just on looks alone I know I made the right choice of truck

Still a POS. haha. I mean hp wise I guess it's right there with the mid level V8's that everyone else offers but they're missing out by not having a big engine option, which they will finally have with the 6.2.

did anyone see how the raptor can go down a 60 or 70 degree hill forgot which one. but the driver doesnt even need to put his foot on the brake/pedals. the computer can handle it by itself. some may not like this. but thats damn good technology.
