What is it with people on this site always looking to jump on making fun of someone else's truck !? Truck was brand new in that photo, it has a full tube front bumper etc on it now.

Wasn't meant to make fun. I just think the order in which some people modify their trucks is funny.

Did they use a heatgun to soften and stretch the oem bumper into a new position?

Any 4cyl In this thread with 35's?

I have 4.88's pushing 33's right now but I'm on the edge of the 35's fence and it looks so much greener over there. Just worried if the 2.7 and 4.88's can push the 35's well enough.

I rocked 35s on my 4cyl and stock 4.10s for 2 years and just got 4.88s installed last month lol. It can push them fine.

Plenty of great products so far !
If your off road and need more power to get up a steep grade or over a large rock or stump. You don't have it. Rolling down a paved road is easy, off-roading is where you'll feel it !

My truck has no power. Slow as shit from a dig to any speed but I can roll 80 down the interstate no problem, get 18-19 mpgs and 4lo still works for offroading. If you're a reg cab then you might be ok like Cassy and Chris but there's no doubt my truck is much slower then stock

I bought my first new Toyota pick up in 1989 when they went with a body chandelier to a larger extra cab! 5 speed 22RE motor with nothing larger than 265's and I went everywhere in that thing !!!!

Good info from everyone's who chimed in so far they have you on the right track. I have a lot of discussion in my build on this subject and where it took me 35's, crawlbox, super charger and landing on 36's eventually which has worked out just fine IMO.

I think I'm going to order today. The big thing for me is paint. That can be big money. They must have the pain 1G3 paint since that's what the truck pictured on their website. Any idea what paint should cost me for fenders? I don't want to waste their time if it's going to be super expensive

Thanks for all the replies. 35's it is.

I like the tall skinny look but it seems like only swampers come in something like 35x10.50

In other news turns out I hit my truck too hard with a hammer and caused a big ass water leak where the panels separated I'm hoping a tube of silicone was the answer

Can anyone lead me to pics or write ups on how they sealed their intake hole up. I remember hearing someone used a type of plastic to mold back over as a newer wheel lining but idk where it went lol. Or if anyone just re routed that intake to get air from somewhere else.
