    There is (or at least used to be) a shop in Salinas, CA, that restores, or I believe actually fabricates most of the airframe of, P-51s. They've made some of their own jigs for the tougher parts for this purpose, or course. Went there a long time ago on a visit with my air racing buddies.

    First time flying a prop in close to a year. One of my buddies asked if I wanted to fly to Fresno to pick up some rescue dogs. I miss flying low.
