Id love to be able to flip to a top mount style over the under. But like you said would require a lot of research and development to do so without adverse effects.

I can't imagine that it could be done, that seems like too much of an angle change...might have to rely on @jberry813 for some math and science n shit to confirm. On DB kits they flip it but they have to because the angles are changes so drastically by the DB.

That's not bad at all then! I know I was pissed (more at myself) when I needed to replace mine. Thought for sure it was going to cost a lot more. Still was 200 bucks cause I had to have them replace the shafts and seals since rust on one shaft had cut through a seal and I lost all the oil.

Taught me a valuable less on both living right next to the ocean and also on not letting the truck sit for 3 no the without driving it

I believe my coilovers have finally settled, giving me a slight rake. Best way to increase ride height? 14" springs or crank the coilovers? Mine aren't turned up very much. There may be a picture in my build thread..

    Opinions?

Add preload. Longer coils wont gain you anything.

I like a little rake. That way when you're loaded up on a trip or camping it sits nice a level instead of stinkbug :notsure:

I feel like someone mentioned cranking them up gives more up travel, and less preload gives more down travel.

Which is more important on a MT set up. Granted I don't abuse my rig, however I will hit dirt roads fast along with light off roading.

Also.. has anyone ever experienced this situation.. "turning right through a curve, tire is catching/scrubbing something and causes loss of steering making the truck slide" it doesn't happen frequently but when it does it scares the shit out of me. Frame rub perhaps?

Thinking about moving up a tire size.. 295s are golden without regearing correct? Or should I go bigger..:headbang:..I just don't want to regear unless absolutely necessary. Truck runs around 2500 RPMs at 80 mph.

PS.. I'd rather ask ya'll questions since we are all running very similar set ups and this is an active thread. :bananadance:

with 295s I definitely noticed a loss of power. Suoercharger helps alot, but even with it I noticed a significant loss of accelaration. Regearing 4.56 with 295s should be fun, and then bumping up to 315s when the 34s are toast
