Hello ladies and gents. I thought you guys would get a kick out of this. Little back story. I live in Las Vegas. The lady and I went to Death Valley 4 days ago (2hr drive). I saw this man walking with a little cart. I thought he was homeless at first however, when we got closer he appeared to be an athlete of sorts. Fast forward 4 days. Me and some of the boys went mountain biking right outside Vegas and see this same guy hanging out in the parking lot. I went and talked to him. Long story short his name is Norio Sasaki, Japan native and is a stud. This guy has walked all over the world including Japan, Australia and a few others I can't remember. He told us that he'd started his most recent journey 9 months ago in Alaska! He said he is headed to Argentina which would take close to 3 years total. He is a cool guy, super humble. He is doing the run/walk in hopes to spread world peace as well as for some personal reasons. He does not use any transportation besides his legs. Does not stay in hotels, just camps wherever he stops for the day. He had a huge bag of rice, bunch of water and some MREs from Japan of miso soup. That's all eats. I snapped a few pics. Thought I'd spread the word, maybe some of you will see the guy. He left his cart to go hiking and we left some water and an extra MRE I had in my truck. Enjoy!
