07 Tacoma Has A Rattle

07 TACOMA HAS RATTLE.
My 2007 4 door Tacoma with 1112 miles made a rattling sound when started up and for a few minutes thereafter from day one. This morning temperature was 20° when I drove it 20 miles and it rattled in the front left quadrant off and on the whole trip. Anyone else experienced this before I take it to the shop? It seems like there was a notice when I got the truck new to expect such a rattle on startup, but not to worry it will quit. Thanks. Bing

 

How come you only have 1000 miles on a 2007??

A rattle has been standard equipment in Tacomas since the dawn of time. While owners of other makes get to complain about blown motors and crapped out transmissions, we get a measly rattle.

 

Sorry -- mileage needs another 1 - 11,000. Only live one (1) mile from a good hardware store. Bing

 

December 18th. -- I took it to the shop. They determined it was the air intake that is the subject of one of their TSB. Ordered the parts and put them in this morning. Sounds like a different truck. Can't believe I put up with that noise for going on 3 years. Thank you all who responded. Bing
