When i bought the truck the previous owner had blacked out all of the lights incluiding the fog lamps. One of the bulbs just went out and would like to replace both with a brighter ones. It currently has the Sylvabia 9145 H10 which are 42w. Are any of you guys using a different replacement/brighter bulb?

Im running a Sylvania Silverstar bulbs in my fogs. They are a 38 watt bulb, but seem to give off good light. Hard to say if its better or worse than the OEM bulb, but it is a more "White" light.

I replaced my stock ones with 9005 65w silverstars. The plug is identical to the stock 42w type, just one of the tabs on the base is slightly offset more. If you look at the old bulb you can see it exactly, quick snip with pliars and it was a perfect fit.

    Made a huge difference
