So I got my bedrack mounted up and I only had two gripes...

    1) my Rotopax base plate mounts don't fit the sides so Im curious what mounting system you used to mount the ones in the picture.
    2) I cant stop looking at it ^_^

I think @LunaticConcepts had to do a little drilling to mount his up. As far as I know, he's the only one to put Rotopax on this rack, so far.

Did you grab a hold of it and give a good shake? Strong, right?

Honestly its not the strongest, due to the slots in the side panels, but they haven't broke or fallen off on some pretty rough wheeling with both cans full. They just have a little play in them but I don't foresee them going anywhere.

The side panels aren't super strong (as expected), but the frame of the rack itself is mega strong.

That is truth. I jumped around in my RTT with no movement from the rack and I'm 240lbs.

That's how I mounted mine. It barely fits but it works.

Now I just gotta come up with a clever way of transporting my kayak.

In the name of science, find yourself a 300 pound "trail bunny", and do some real strength testing.

Right now I have mine bolted just to the top slotted rail, sort of iffy because it wiggles if pulled on, but I may just drill into the bottom part like you did there. I wish I had a few more rotopax bolts since they are longer, for the entire voodoo setup, BUT the ones provided work great!

So the only issue I noticed so far is that the washers supplied can actually end up bending the slots a little if you aren't precise with them. You can sort of see what I am talking about on the third picture above. My fix to this was to use a 1/4 - 1 1/4 washer instead. It bent the slot on the back cross rail before I noticed the issue I had :(

I'll start supplying the rack with larger washers.

Not upset by any means, if that's how it came across, just wanted to let you know a fix I found :) I actually replaced most of the smaller washers even if they weren't bowing--just to be safe!

Absolutely LOVE the rack and have gotten many compliments on it. Already mounted my RTT on there as well, and I will get you a few pictures next weekend with it in full use! Thanks for the great work Chad!
