maybe those weird little cabinet hooks that go into a loop. You see it a lot on old kitchen cabinets. or hell bungie cord across it?

It's slides well but the wood on wood does provide friction so it's not like it is going to come flying out of I'm parked on an incline.

Prob about $120-$150 or so. I built the platform first a long time ago so I don't remember exactly how much I paid for it

I bought a used SnugTop (cab high) model a few weeks ago for $230 with sliding windows. I want windoors so I called them and they said it was $300 per side plus tax. I think I'll do one side soon and the other down the road.

Don't know what kind of cap you have or if it's new but ARE has a install kit that had clamps and a rubber seal for the front. Leer has a rubber seal installed from the factory.

Just curious, what do you guys think I could get if I sold my shell? I don't know what brand it is. There is minor paint imperfections from removing and reinstalling it on the truck. Locking rear glass, sliding windows with vents, sliding front window, carpet headliner. Also has locking Thule roof rails

    Edit: Here's a pic.

wow, really? I was thinking that I have no idea what brand it is, that would make it worth less.

I think it just depends on condition and functionality really. If it looks good and no issues with windows/door, I think you are good.

Hmm, you know what, I think I might remember seeing a small plate in there. I need to go see if I can get any information from it.

That $800 price may be shooting a bit high because it is a first gen.
