The first game of 2017 is FSU vs. Bama. Good attempt though.

I thought you were referring to the Noles going to Tampa next year against Bama in the Natty (which very well may happen).

Can't wait to come down to the Doak.

Did you neglect to see our recruiting class and depth we have. FSU will be a championship contender for the next couple years unless we loose Jimbo or something terribly goes wrong.

He realized he wont play much with the talent already at Bama.

He'll have to battle with Eason. We'll see how that goes.

Yeah, he'd have to battle with Cooper Bateman, Blake Barnett, and Jalen Hurts. So, Battle one, or battle 3?

EDIT: I think he made the right decision for himself.

From what I read it didn't have anything to do with this. I read that he always wanted to wear the G but didn't get recruited by Richt so when Smart offered he jumped at it. Regardless I've been saying we need more depth (with talent) at QB and everyone says we are fine since we have Eason. Seems everyone is sold on him. I'm not as I've heard the competition level in Washington isn't that strong. Stepping into the SEC is a big jump. And even if Eason is great, Fromm will be a year behind him so redshirt him and have 2 or more years for him to play. Either way it's a win win in my book.

Yep. That's what I've been reading, too. Richt's regime never offered him. Growing up in Warner Robins, cheering for the Dawgs for 18 years, you probably want to go to UGA.

Look at our RB situation. Never a bad thing to have several talented players at any position.

Yeah, one bad sack, with a broken anything, and Fromm will be in the game.

Looks like Dak took a ride in a police car. Maybe Cleveland will draft him.

So why is it that Kirby is getting bashed for restricting players from transferring to rival schools, and in this case following Richt to Miami? Hes being thrown under the bus for the same thing that the majority of college coaches already do. Guess so many years of Richt has everyone expecting different of UGA.

He can completely keep kids from requesting a transfer for all I care. I just want a championship.

But, I don't get it, either. Most schools in the nation have restrictions. He can't go to UF, Miami, GT, or any SEC school. Unless he pays his own way. Or goes to a JUCO then he can go wherever the hell he wants. I can't say I blame the kid for wanting to go elsewhere. Chubb, Michel, Holyfield, et al in the backfield...that's a lot of competition and fighting for playing time.

I think UGA will have a Heisman within 3 years. Possibly Holyfield, if not sooner with the talented backs they have.

He's getting bashed for that? All I've seen is that he restricted somebody from transferring to Miami and I thought that it made complete sense.
