That's brewed about 30 min from where I live, Rolling Rock used to be brewed.

 

Brewery tours with free samples? Any places to wheel nearby?

 

Yuengling was definitely a good tour. Been loving all my tours so far. Dogfish head was a good one too.

 

One beer to rule them all, eh...

...Sam Adams Boston Lager. It always suffices, never disappoints. There are beers I like better depending on time of year or what I'm having with them and so on, but IMEBDE* Sam is never a wrong choice.

Also since you all are from PA and it's where I literally drink/eat every week during work, check out Manny Browns and Isaac Newtons in Newtown for AWESOME beer selections.

 

I live in Burlington Twp, so almost right across the river from Bristol. I work in Newtown right on the bypass.

 

Since I live less then 5 mins from each of those, go to Manny's or the new Temperence house. New owners, old bar tender from Issacs is over there now... Issac's owner has turned the place into a no fun zone.

Dude (owner) flagged me for being drunk. I had just walked in straight from work, in uniform, ordered a coke, and a diner meal. I was being too loud... odd since I was sitting in the corner by myself not talking to anyone.

 

The Iron Abbey near Hatborough has an excellent bear selection,.. and the food is pretty good too.

 

My nephew lives in Newtown and in his logic driven wisdom inquired "if they call it Temperence House, why do they serve alcohol?"

 

I like bears!

 

Do they import Polars? I always wanted to try a grizzly. Getting tired of all the black bears...

Yeah Mannys and Club house are our regulars. We used to go to Irish Rover a lot too, so much that we have a conference room in the office named after it. Only go to Isaac Newtons when the drinks/food are going on the boss's corporate card ha. We should get a mini PA lunch beer/meet going with the locals. I think @loosnut is close too.

Also any of you go to the Steam Pub in Southhampton? Such fucking good food.
