well, since sliders are ordered... I guess tires might be next. And then when the suspension group buy gets going for some billsteins that will get done. Hopefully all before Thing #2 shows up in August. Then you won't see me for a few months.

The actual pump? Dayum. Mines going in Monday for the seals.

Every tech hates me because it's warranty so they get paid for half the time it's called for.. Oops!

    They

They put the whole assembly on master cylinder pump and all

Turned out my video mod to display my phone on the radio was interfering with the. Data wires between modules.

I won't be there but I'll trade you (by mail) one of my PD or volunteer FD patches for a morale patch.

    BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
@WheelInTheSky I talked to the old guy at my shop today about Wellsville and he has strongly advised me to not go there for various reasons, he doesn't 4x4 anymore but did it for 20 years so I am a skeptical about it now at least until I get more recovery gear and have maybe a couple of other people to go with. It sounds like its legality are questionable and the terrain sounds like a good time but like I said I'd rather be a little more prepared for recovery if I am going to do that.
@MeefZah is willing to do Coshocton this weekend then I think we should do that, I know I know I know... your itching to get to Wellsville bad but Meefzah will be gone soon and we will miss him dearly. I'm not bailing on Wellsville idea completely but I don't think it is our best option for this weekend.

Surprised your truck is still under warranty. I do a lot of warranty work for Subaru, mainly the same shit over and over but occasionally you get some odd ball problem that takes a while to diagnose.

I bought it used in 2012 so it has the extended Toyota certified warning. It ends in a few months or 10k miles so I'm just barely there. I noticed the rear main a couple days ago putting my skids on. Valve covers have been leaking for a while but I didn't know they were covered too. This is the fifth time warranty has saved my wallet!

Ok, so you bought it as a certified pre owned? That's great that it covers that stuff, I hate the thought of someone else working on my stuff but I'm a little bit OCD about how stuff is done to my junk... I mean vehicles.

Yeah, I do almost everything. I've been planning on the valve covers for months but never got to it. I'd do the rear main but don't feel like pulling my trans and stuff on the garage floor if it's under warranty

LOL Yeah man no way I'd pull a trans or engine to do a rear main seal if I could just let someone else cover it for no cost to me.
Only thing I notice leaking on my truck is the oil pan gasket/seal and it's not leaking enough to make me need to add any oil between oil changes so I am just leaving it alone.
At my old shop my boss and I pulled the trans out of mine and did a clutch kit THE NIGHT BEFORE I moved to Ohio, so my clutch break in was 800 miles one way on the Interstate. Talk about being sure of your work, we did a couple of seals as well since the trans was out. We were both pretty sure that was the original clutch in it with about 240k miles. Pretty much all highway miles and one owner.

I think there might be a 20% chance of meeting up this weekend. Still sans cb.
