i have a 2013 DC tacoma 4x4 trd offroad. After installing the following suspension, im having a clunking or rattle that i feel coming through the driverside floor area. The clunking or rattle seems to be coming from driverside front wheel area and maybe whtever it is is what is being felt through the floor area of driver side front. With windows up and just driving in silence hitting mild bumps in road i hear it a little but feel it more in floor. Not super hard but enough something isnt right. Installed is:

Fox 2.5 factory series extended travel coilover with resi and dsc adjustment.
Toytec 1/4" spacer on front driverside for eliminating lean.
Fox sway bar relocation brakets that move swaybar away from coilover.
Spc light racing upper control arms with spec ride

Alignment has been done snd all parts brand new and installed by me. Im a very mechanically inclined dude. I have everything torqued properly. Things i rechecked are :
the top 3 bolts for the coilover mounting
Lower coilover mounting bolt to lower arm
Upper control arm long bolt to frame
And the sway bar relocation brackets and sway bar bolts

The clunking/rattle is driving me crazy!!

Could the 1/4" spacer still be moving or doing anything weird even tho bolts are tight? Do i need thin rubber in between the spacer?

    Any help is appreciated!!

I am reading it now. Crazy is that i had a bilstein 5100 setup from toytec on my truck that was new i installed. Only kept it on for like 1500 miles but it was perfect. No issues. Now the only difference in different parts is the fox shocks and UCAs. Shit like this makes me mad at myself for not leaving shit alone! I had to go here on this forum and see all these nice suspension setups and i couldnt take it and yanked my bilsteins off and put all fox shit on and its been one thing after another! Damnit! Ive had many little issues with this fox stuff and just things im not happy with and its irritating as hell. Now this clunking shit is deiving me nuts. Its pushing me to sell this shit!
Im so tempted to sell the entire truck! Disappointed in Toyota for all the bullshit people deal with with these trucks from fram rust recalls to cv axle bearimg issues to just all the stupid stuff yall have and not to mention the noisy ass ticking engine!! Damnit!
I had a 3rd gen t4r that was built nicely and never had issues like this. Thats why i bought a tacoma.
Just venting.... Hope all yall are having a super day!!

Nope. Its happening just over any bumps in any roads. Just slow driving period. Maybe 10mph or so. If theres a bump, its clunking.
Ive inspected bolts and guess ill pull the wheel off and put on a jack stand and imspect more.
I did just about a month ago get the TSB done for the cv axle needle bearing groaning done. After they did that it was so smooth. Course that was before this fox install

I'll take it off your hands if you don't want it. You are in CA so you are not going to have frame issues with rust. You made the right decision getting rid of that 5100s. Fox is a great suspension system. I would look to your UCAs for the main source of the noise. How loud is it?

First thing I would do is remove the spacer and adjust your adjustable height shocks to eliminate the lean

Also if your upper control arms have uniballs make sure they are lubed

I thought if i did that, it would effect the suspension preload making it different on one side than other. Meaning maybe stiffer on one side than other?

The spacer is already doing that.

They are light racing and use a spec ride bushing factory style rod end/ ball joint. Similar to stock.

I thought the spacer may effect droop or up travel slightly. I just thought i read that by adjusting the preload nut to compensate for lean i would have one side stiffer than the other making it ride weird up front?

I once had that clunking noise after reinstalling my suspension. I put the truck on jack stands, loosen all the suspension bolts at all the bushings for both front and rear, lower the truck back down on the floor and re-tightened the bolts with the truck under load. The noise went away.

I always remrmber to clock the bushings when doing suspension, but I must have overtightened somewhere, causing binding in the bushing under load, not really sure.

It may not be what's causing the noise on your truck, but just sharing my lucky fix.
