Snowed here today, too. It was laying in the grass, but all the roads were fine.

Best place to go for a view will be Bell Mountain. Don't know about camping up there. Been a long time since I've been up there. You can wheel to the top where the sweet view is.

Backpacking...the Benton McAye trail is a big hiking destination up here in north Georgia.

I had that problem, too. Easiest solution was to sell it and buy a 4x4. I considered doing a 4wd install, but it's a HUUUUUUGE pain in the ass and about just as expensive....if you can even find all the parts

The wife and I go up to North GA each fall to camp/hike/fish. Last year we went to Blue Ridge and the year before that we went to Cloudland Canyon in Rising Fawn, GA. We always do primitive camping (no running water, no lodging, no electricity) b/c anything more than that isn't really camping IMO. Cloudland Canyon had amazing views and a few cool waterfalls. I dunno what Blue Ridge has for hiking b/c that isn't what we really go for, but the actual town of Blue Ridge is pretty cool. Ask @dwalden2...he lives there.

Meh, I've heard mixed reviews. Most people with Tacoma's either get the Bilstein 5100/Eibach spring lift or the Old Man Emu lift, both of which are suspension lifts with new shocks and springs. For the rear, for the best ride, your best bet is a whole new leaf pack or an AAL. Shackles and blocks suck.

I'm a fan of the Bilstein 5100/Eibach lift and an AAL in the rear. That's what I had on my PreRunner and what I plan on putting on my 4x4. Right now, it has a spacer lift in the front and blocks and shackles in the rear and I hate it. Old Man Emu and Bilstien are both great though. Both are about $400-$600, but well worth it

Nice. My wife has an uncle who takes his kids "camping" each year to a state park here in our home town a whopping 5 miles from their house. They bring an RV, their satellite and flat screen, and do nothing both watch tv outside by a fire the whole time. Makes me wanna slap somebody!
