    Got to build a support bracket for the bar, and for some of the stuff in the engine bay but it's pretty close to being done

    The only thing I worry about is the steering system. I'm working with a few people on figuring out how to strengthen the rack n pinion along with clevis and heim tie rods.

    Better to ask what I have not done.
    Just get a double ended ram and tap into the power steering. Then just lengthen your steering arms and add those to it. It would be a booster to the stock system. :D
    Or get a first gen rack and pinion and put it where they do.














    Then report back to me and tell me if it works.

    All depends on how you drive and use the truck. Mines my DD and only vehicle. I didn't build it to wheel the shit out of. If I wanted to do that I would have bought a cheap ass Jeep Cherokee. I built it to take me anywhere I wanted to go. It daily drives, runs 78mph at 2700rpm smoothly and will go places that most 4x4s won't with ease. I drive easy, I take easy lines. I put LESS stress on the vehicle with these beefy bastards because it simply doesn't work as hard as it did on 33s.

    I'm adding the crawl box for the same reason. Not to take much harder obstacles, but to make the obstacles I do take that much easier.

    If I pushed it to the 37s limits I would be breaking shit left and right. But if you use self control they make life easier.


    Some people need rock bouncers instead of Tacomaso (not saying you're one of them, I don't know you)
