What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

A friend let me borrow his soft topper for a camping trip next week, and I just decided it was time for a fresh new tailgate pad.

 

For now, one of the boxes has an assortment of Bungee Cords. To be honest, don't really have a plan yet of what exactly will go in these. Since both my AC underseat storage boxes are full I figured these will come in handy eventually. Also, just a fun little project.

 

My next tiny project was mounting a GoPro camera mount just under the rear view mirror. I believe these come standard on the 3rd gen TRD Sports but i could be mistaken:

Finally wired in my Cobra 75. I ended up mounting the remote box under the cup holder in front of the shifter. The cup holder has two supports under it. I cut off the one on the passenger side and the remote box fit under it perfectly. I need to hook an SWR meter to it to make sure I'm good to go but i finally have it installed.

I drove a lot

 

Broke her in today...took a whole 9 months haha

 

Drove to the beach and played in the sand. First time at the beach and loose soft sand was no issue.

 

I always wanted to drive on the beach!!!

 

Figured before I threw it away and replaced it with a new one Id try washing it to see what would happen. I did some research and it seems you can rinse em out a few times before they fall apart

 

Finally after 3 months got my new wheels up on
