CB install checklist... Thoughts?

    So, this will be a fairly simple thread.
    Just trying to make sure I have everything I need to install a CB within my Center Console.
    Here's what I have so far:
    Cobra 29LTDCHR Professional CB Radio – Emergency Radio, Travel Essentials, Chrome, Talk Back, Instant Channel 9, 40 Channels, SWR Calibration , Black
    Cobra 29 LTD CHR CB Radio
    $27 FireStik FL3-B Three Foot FireFly Antenna With Tuneable Tip (Black)
    FireStik FL3-B 3 Foot Tunable Antenna
    FIRESTIK 9ft RG-58A/U PL to Fire-Ring, Black, K-8R9
    FireStik K-8R9 9 foot Antenna Cable with Fire Ring
    $12 FireStik K4 Antenna Stud Mounts
    FireStik K4 Stud Mount
    $8 Workman CP4 10" CB Radio Right Angle Microphone Extension Cord
    Workman CP4 10" Mic Extension Cable 90 Degree Extension cable, this will be to move my mic to the outside of the center console.


    Question:
    What's the best area to install the Antenna? I thought about a hood bracket and mounting it there. I can't install anywhere in my bed because I have a Tonneau Cover.

    BAMF makes a mount that will put it just above the rear tail light (whichever side you choose) I like it because it's out of the way and not in my hood lol

    It looks good to me but you may run into some issues with only a 9 foot cable. it really just depends on how you route it and how far away you're putting the CB from the antenna

    9 foot is cutting it close, but I think it'll be just enough, I just didn't want several feet of cable left over, I'm kinda OCD about cable management.
    I guess that comes from me working in IT, lol
