That's what I think too. I see none. I feel none. I'll be in town later this week and will stop by a local dealer to compare. (Nearest is over 45 minutes away, and the one I bought her from is several hundred miles away...)

I thought all double cabs had privacy glass in the back windows, looks like just less than 35%.. I had my front windows tinted to match as close as possible.

I believe that to be true also. I'm trying to figure if I have just the factory privacy glass or an additional dealer installed tint.

(I've had the truck one week today. I'm going through all my paperwork to file away and just noted that there's a $399 charge for dealer added tint. I'm not paying for something I didn't get. )

I picked up my TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB with bed cover and towing kit. MSRP 36,800 for 33k flat the dealer even gave me a $100 gift card.

Are you saying to paid 399 for dealer tint? You received no tint from the dealer.

you paid for tint and didn't get tint? I would be pissed

Also, I would be pissed to pay 399 for some shitty tint. I got all 7 glasses tinted in 3M color stable for 170 bucks. You need to find a good shop that uses real tint.

where do you live? looks like dealers are starting to feel the pressure of the '17 model just around the bend.

My friend ordered her TRD Pro two weeks ago. It is built in Japan and currently on the ship coming to Benicia. They paid full retail (no markup) from Elk Grove Toyota in CA. 43K for the loaded Auto rig. I'm about to order my truck and debating between the TRD Off-Road and TRD PRO.
I'd buy the smoke gray if I got the Pro. I'll get silver if I get the Off-Road

    In Maryland.
Really what I did was I pitted three competing dealerships against each other, I first made sure they each had the same truck that I wanted with same MSRP give or take a few hundred. one gave me an initial offer then I went to the other to match or beat once, I got that in writing I went to the other to match or beat then I took that to the first dealer, they beat that offer that's when I settled knowing that's as low as they would go. All in all it took about 2 weeks.

Well done, pretty standard strategy if you have enough dealerships nearby. Im just shocked they all had the same model you wantes.

I wanna dclb sr5 4x4 v6 in superwhite so i will likely have to order mine and negotiate a price before it gets there.

Knowing you only paid 33k for a sport is good knowledge! What was your final OTD price after taxes title etc.?

I stuck to 50 mile radius from where I live. I must've searched over 20 dealerships online before I went in. I posted on another thread a few weeks ago that there are a bunch of Tacos to be had over here. Honestly I don't really see many on the road, mainly F150's around here. It was also a lot of hoping and wishing none of them got sold while I was negotiating since that was my bargaining chip. Before I came upon the 3 dealerships that wanted to play ball with me I walked out of 2 and I was literally laughed out of one. I'm sorry if I misspoke 33k was my OTD price.

Technically I did and did not pay for it.

It was listed as a dealer add on.
I did not ask that it be added on.

It was rolled in the price I paid, but was never put on the glass.

Yea, I'm pissed. I've already taken it to a local dealer, spoke with the person there that applies the tint, he says there's no aftermarket film and would write a letter documenting same.

There are some (slight) extenuating circumstances that if played out, could have happened...

I called the dealer looking for this vehicle the day it arrived on their lot. The sales guy tucked it away on the roof lot, put a SOLD sign on it, and took my deposit over the phone.

I can see how the service dept. wanted to add these items, but the truck got moved and no one could see/find it. Therefore not actually installed.

    It's a stretch. But plausible.

Paid $33,200 for TRD OR 4x4 w/Tow Package, tailgate remote lock/unlock, tonneau cover. Had $2500 extra on trade, and they dropped their $3000 dealer fee since it was the end of the month and they needed to meet a quota.
