    I just ordered my Christmas present!! I'm not sure when I'll get them tho! But I can't wait til I do, and get everything installed! What do yall think of both of these? :)

    Having had both of those I didn't care for either of them. Had the volant intake on my 07 and hated it and couldn't wait to get rid of it. The whole thing fit like crap. Box had no spacing on the side or top of the fender so it rattled and was very annoying. Intake tube was a tight fit. I also had a gibson exhaust on my 04 that sounded like crap and rusted out.

    Geeze, way to extinguish his excitement! Thekidcatcher has the volant intake and i think it sounds pretty good. Like ross said, the spacing is kind of limited though.

    haha yea i know right? oh well we'll see. but with my step-dad who will be helping me install it he always finds a way to make things work pretty well, so hopefully we'll be able to do something to make it not rattle or anything, and the whole reason i got the volant was because it was the one that he's using in his jeep.

    Gibson for the exhaust was because from what i've heard sounds great! i just hope it doesn't rust out now! :(

    Anyways guys, I'll get some pictures up when everything arrives, btw how much would you say it should cost to get the exhaust installed? is $65 a good deal on installation?

    Awesome, can't wait to see some pics! I'm not sure about pricing to install an entire catback. I just had a muffler welded in and that was $80, but since they won't have to weld anything for yours and they'll be utilizing factory hangers I assume it'd be quite a bit cheaper.

    Yeah. They told me $65, and that's coming in as a teenage kid. I'm going to go to another body shop that knows my family pretty well and might be able to give me a better price.

    I just put the Gibson on and it sounds amazing! I love it and you will too...

    My dad has an 07 4x4 Tacoma and he put it on his truck 2 years ago, no rust issues at all.

    Anything will rust under the right circumstances so don't worry about it...

    Awesome! I won't be installing it, but I will be installing the CAI.
