Probably work on the OBA this weekend. Diffs will be a bit yet.

Yeah, a job certainly does have some benefits. And I figure now's the time to blow money on fun stuff. Family and kids can wait a bit.

Congrats on the gears and locker, going to be so nice. Are you eventually getting a crawlbox?
Choke Cherry some day would make for a great trip. There's some camping there and 45 miles away at the San Juan river. Where obviously there is fishing. It's small area in regards to you don't have to travel far between trailheads. My guess is that it is an area about the size of half of sand flats Mesa. I think it would take 2-3 days to do the trails that our trucks are capable of. A lot of obstacles on the trails require spotting, gaurantee it. Pretty tough area for land sharks.

I don't foresee a crawlbox in my future. I can't envision my truck as a crawler, and can't see it being necessary for my purposes. While I like to hit challenging trails, the more I wheel the more I enjoy the multi-day exploitative type trips. I really don't have much desire to build my truck to tackle the most extreme of trails.

So for me, the next step is getting proper suspension to make going fast more fun and all the time on the easier trails more enjoyable. Hoping to knock that out this spring too, and than the plan is to wheel it a shit ton and see where I want to go from there, if anywhere. Hoping to hit another 1,000 miles offroad this year.

Oh, and a trip to Choke Cherry sounds like it is in order.

I'm thinking it may get retired from DDing duty in the not too distant future though.
