Ordered, 8 weeks from placing order to delivery. 1 of 5 local dealerships that could get it here in a reasonable amount of time. Wasn't interested in onhand stock. AFIK, the only LB OR currently in the region.

 

So, I have been emailing a dealer to see what prices can be had on an OR DCLB 4X4 w/ tow. They stated its a special order and that even if we ordered it just for me, that southeast Toyota would add more options to it at the port and they have no control over that. It sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me. Is this dealer being truthful?

 

I didn't have that problem, got exactly what I wanted. Most of the other options such as roofrack, mudguards, running boards and such are dealer installed.

Bought my own OEM roofrack cheaper and installed it myself.

I paid for 2016 286000 otd--sr5 double cab v6 w/tow pack. no trade in! A whopping 90 miles on her now.

 

Was the the original price of the 10 yr warranty? Can you haggle the price of that?

 

Im curious did the $28,600 include sales tax and if so how much was the tax? Also were there any other extras such as floor mats or mud flaps, etc? Just trying to get a feel for what the price was relative to msrp. Im getting close on one and curious how far off the dealer's offer is, thanks!

 

That is mostly true. SET is a cartel-like distributor and really shady. Buy outside the southeast and save thousands on useless add-ons (Toyoguard, LED lights where lights already exist, paint protection, etc)

 

They have different levels on top of the warranty for interior tears, exterior paint damage, all kinds of extras. Didn't select anything other than extending factory coverage to 10 yrs. Added $20 to the monthly payment.

 

Hey JK, That price includes tax--6% i think. No financing,no floor mats {just received weather techs from Amazon today-$200}.
I did have a tag transfer which saves 200 or so. Hope this helps.

 

Just ordered a TRD DCSB 4x4* OR 6MT, Tech, Tow, Tonneau with DMV 35,682 OTD when it's done.

Short, double and 4x4. The MT only comes in that combo. Otherwise I might have gotten a long bed.

 

Is that OTD price include TTL? If so you got a smoking deal.

 

Yep, Oregon, no tax, DMV total is 388. 35,294 was the total on the truck including location.

 

That's the beautiful thing about being in Seattle, just go over there and buy my truck and BAM no tax! Just kidding they don't let you do that. I can buy a tax free club sandwich if I want.
