only if you try to do 65+ with it :)

if you stay around 55, it actually is pretty dam reasonable to haul.

but I would stay at 55 since pulling that brick will eat the mpg if you go above 55.

A front blew through last night and winds later today will be gusting out of the NW up to 40MPH and I'll be heading WNW. I doubt that I'll be able to get over 45 going uphill :).

So, I had to get a 24' extension ladder home today...

    image.jpg image.jpg

With the moving blanket and a ratcheting strap - it didn't move. My copilot Lucy supervised, but she was more interested in a squirrel.

Ha ha! I wish it weighed like a 24 inch ladder! Worth it, though.

Was a little concerned at first, told the dealership that I wanted a bed cover with my truck. Got a call and was told it was in, of course I said sweet, leaving work now to come and have it installed. Get told can't do it today, have to go and get it done at a Ziebarts? I asked why and was told that what they ordered me was the Extang. Just had it installed today and I like it so far. I honestly like the way the factory opens, but it was free, not added on to the cost of the vehicle (reason is a different story).

Nice! I think you got a better cover. Did they add the cab rail seals? If not, details are a few pages back.

And check it out tomorrow. I doubt that it was put on, like I said part of the deal from the dealership.

On the bottom seal, did you put the bulb portion up or down? I cannot tell from the picture.

No seal, instead the guy at Zeibart put silicone! Thanks for the heads up about the seals that are available.

Do you still have the part number for the cab rail seals? Already told the dealership about the, IMO, shoddy work, and was told they'll make it right. I surely hope so, can't believe they dumped some silicone and called it good.

Bulb up. It is partially pinched between the bed and the tailgate, which creates the seal. All the way round the tailgate it's the bulb that touches both sides.

I called Extang's customer support line and they were in the mail that day. Great support.
