i was going to go 305/70/17s because i was worried about scrubbing too much with 315s. But this on on stock fenders and has same lift set up give or take a few things. I think its time for 315s. The V8 shouldnt be dogged down too much.

My 3.4 can light up my 35" MTR's without any issue. I think you will be fine haha

You should be fine, but there is always the 285/75/17. More height, but less width and would probably not have any issues with clearance.

That's a new one. Never heard of that before. Probably not as easy as a 3.4 swap though

im looking for more width personally. With my already wide stance, id like to add a little more beef under it. Also i dont do much mud or "tight trails" so the skinny tire isnt too appealing for me.

I think one of the problems you will run into is the Highlander is FWD and the 4Runner is rear wheel drive. Usually FWD engines are transversely mounted, unlike RWD

Wait what?? The Highlander is FWD?! How?? I thought the Highlander branched off the 4runner line like the Sequoia did with the Tundra

I vote yes! I have one in my "cart" waiting on go as soon as I confirm the sale of my old head unit.

I think they would be decently functional depending on how much I utilize my roof rack. I climbed up on it last trip and it was kinda tough.

It would make putting away the tent easy and be a place to mount a trasharoo since I won't be doing a swing out

I am pretty sure is is FWD, it is a unibody Crossover not a body on frame like the 4Runner or Sequoia.

That's why I have a kickout on my sliders lol

I just climb out my sun roof when I need to get up there. Kinda dumb considering I don't have a roof rack lol

I knew it was unibody, just expected it to be RWD. I thought Sequoia was unibody too. Well at least the newer ones. The old ones I know are BOF
