Side bumpers look killer but it'd have to be a totally custom job for me and with that one appearing to only have bottom attach point, I too would be worried about my weight; not to mention what I'm carrying.

Why no desire for the swingout? Just a hassle to open and close every time? I think the dual swingouts would be a little easier to deal with

CBI's prices to start though... And then make it a custom job...

I am looking forward to seeing the options for the Savage bumper.

I had one on the Tacoma. Could never open the back in Los Angeles. I think they look badass. Girlfriend thinks they are hideous.

I think I'll have the same problem with living at the beach in the summer and only taking 'adventures' to other beaches.

That and I go to school in the city with parallel parking only so at least having dual swingouts would be a little easier to deal with.

I think most people aren't a fan of the swingout just because it looks very rugged and different but I love the look plus functionality of it.

I agree. Today only vehicle that comes from the factory with a tire on the back is the Wrangler and they try to make it sit further into the back. They're just not used to it like people were in the 90s

Ultimately it comes down to what I like and I'm in favor of it. I'll have a place to put my spare tire, hilift, and hopefully a ladder which is all things I need and will help with my storage.

There's still the FJ and RAV4 that come with the spare tire on the back but certainly not as many vehicles as there used to be.

That is true, but they're covered in both cases. Our are just out in the open.

But yeah your right its what you like not them. Who cares what they think

I was determined to give bajarack my money, even if it cost more than Gobi at the moment.
