With spacer kits, it's a little different. A 1" spacer doesn't exactly equate to 1" of lift. It would be nearly 2" of lift with a 1" spacer. I'd go with 1/2" spacer kit up front which should bring it up about an inch making you near perfectly level.

Other's can chime in, but that's what I've seen happen. Going from .85 to 1.75 on Bilsteins is about 1/2" difference in the clip setting.

So the 3/4" spacer that Toltec provides for 80 dollars will level you out cheaply and keep the stock handling characteristics.

Ok, now I remember. He mentioned using a 2 1/2" spacer for the front but said the back wouldn't be touched. No leaf springs.
I'm new to this so I was concerned that by saving money, there might be other issues in the future.

that's a good price. I did the spacers myself but the alignment was $90.

if I stuff a tire while turning, they will rub on the mud guards just a hair. But that only happens every once in a great while.

I don't rock crawl, just mud holes and what not. doesn't rub at all doing that.

Incoming noob question. I'm new to the truck scene.. what are the risks associated with a levelling kit? Any wear and tear? Thinking about a readylift 3/2 spacer kit and wondering if I'll be fine with that and some 275/70/17 tires. Very minimal off-roading, purely for looks.

I just did it to mine this week. I went 2" & 1" with the diff drop. I'm running 265-75-16's. I have enough room that when my new wheels arrive I may jump up to 285's. Purely for looks, the only off roading will be rough eroded dirt roads to camp.

Hey guys. This is my first post so bare with me. OK, so I just purchased a new 2016 Tacoma Double Cab TRD Offroad 4X4 in Quicksand and I'm looking to run 285.70r16. Which leveling kits are you guys running? Any issues your experiencing? Thanks in advance!

20160329_180028.jpg 20160329_171642.jpg Mine was leveled 2" in the front with the ProComp top plate 2" spacer and the truck looked huge but visually it sat a little higher in the front so we added the ProComp 1" rear block and now it's perfectly level. I also used the Spider Trax 1.25 wheel spacers to bring the wheels out for a better stance. This also gave me the ability to run the Nitto Trail Grappler in a 285/70r16. No rubbing anywhere but the only issue we ran into was when I went to get it aligned, these tire have rim protectors that go slightly over the wheel lip and can make it difficult to align so check with your tire/ alignment shop. 20160402_082022.jpg 20160329_171520.jpg

Did you get any pre-post measurements from the hub centers to the fender lip? Kinda wondering of you had any lean on the drivers side to level out as well....Shop or do it yourself?

Not a fan of the spacers but curious how the ride is? any chance of posting some sunshiny day pics to get a netter look?
